Sara Raymond
Sara Raymond has been dancing since the age of seven and went to her first lesson through Parks and Rec. She started competing in choreography and showcase dances at the age of twelve and has had a few dances go internationally. She has won numerous competitions in choreography, classic line, and jack and jill competitions. Aside from her love of performing and competing, Sara’s number one passion is teaching. She started teaching at the age of eighteen at Parks and Rec and has not stopped since. She then opened her own company up Sara Raymond Dance Academy and has taken students all over Canada and the U.S.A. to compete at UCWDC events as well as the World Championships. With a love of dance, Sara tries to be as diverse of a dancer as possible. She has trained in Ballet, Jazz, Hiphop, Salsa, West Coast Swing, Ballroom, Country and Line Dance.
Sara currently competes in the Advanced Classic Level with the UCWDC.
As a mother of two kids, I wanted to create an affordable dance company where we can provide all families the opportunity to get your children into dance. I'm also very proud of the range of ages and genres of dance in our company. I feel that everyone should have the opportunity to dance whether you are two years old or 60 years old!
